Kate Groombridge

Kate Groombridge is a designer and maker of innovative contemporary jewellery from materials including wood, metals and plastics.

Clear and translucent tinted resins absorb and refract light, while the combination of woods such as yew, maple and paduk are a considered study in grain and pattern.

The pieces are often layered with colour or embedded with materials such as gold leaf; each is hand crafted and unique.

The individual Portfolio pages of this website contain examples of lockets, pendants, rings and earings. Further details about the artist and her work can be found on the Information page.

Kate lives and works in Portsmouth, South East England, UK
